Pub operator/ brewer Greene King acquired pub The Dirty Bottles. The Dirty Bottles is based in Alnwick, Northumberland. It was acquired for seven figure sum.

Redberry restaurants open first Jersey Mike’s in Downtown Toronto  

Reberry is planning to open 300 locations in next 10 years. It is 5th Jersey Mike’s redberry since August 2024. It is part of Jersey Mike’s growth strategy under the new ownership of Blackstone.

$1 million investment in Chelvies Coffee

Chelvies coffee secured $1 million investment from Endurance Capital. It currently has 6 in India. It plans to open 30 more locations by 2026.

Baja Fresh fights for budget conscious customers

Like many small and large fast food chains, Baja Fresh is introducing new $10 Baja Bundles to attract more customers. This overall trend in the fast food chains to provide budget meals to increase foot traffic.

Smoothie King plans to open over 100 units this year

That is significant increase from its opening ins 2024 (84), and 2203 (81). If it successfully manages to pull off the expansion plan without large drop in same store sales, it is quite an achievement.

Chick-fil-A plans for expansion

Chick-fil-A plans to expand in British Columbia with 5-7 new locations y 2030. It plans to open 8 new locations in Ontario and Alberta tis year.
